UHS will only retain the Associate’s personal data for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it is collected, which retention period is determined by the nature and duration of the Associate’s relationship with UHS. To determine the appropriate retention period for personal data, UHS considers the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the personal data, the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure of Associate personal data, the purposes for which UHS processes Associate personal data, and whether UHS can achieve those purposes through other means, and the applicable legal requirements. In some circumstances UHS may anonymize or pseudonyms the personal data so that it can no longer be associated with the Associate, in which case UHS may use such information without further notice to the Associate.
