Important Reminders

  • Ensure to have VALID PASSPORT (at least 6 months valid beyond intended stay)
  • Travelers need a visa to visit South Korea for Business or Tourism. Travelers must obtain this visa from a local embassy, consulate or visa center before traveling. The visa is a stamp or sticker added to the passport.
  • Full vaccination plus booster is required to go back to PH. Kindly bring you Vaccination Certificate (with or 2 booster shot) issued by Vax Cert PH or Bureau of Quarantine Passport (with or 2 booster shot).

Register for Q-Code
  • ALL travelers regardless of age are required to register for Q-Code NO MORE THAN 3 DAYS BEFORE ARRIVAL. You will not be able to proceed on the Q-code website if you apply more than 3 days before arrival.
  • A QR code will be issued to the traveler’s email after registration.
  • If you have questions on Q-Code or assistance with any technical difficulties, please contact Getaway Tours to assist you.
  • Upon arrival at the airport, proceed to check the temperature and submit documents at the quarantine checkpoint.
  • Q-code applicants may use their pre-issued QR code instead of submitting printed documents.
  • Required documents: -Health Questionnaire & Travel Record Declaration -Passport

Travel Insurance
  • Purchase of travel insurance is not compulsory. However, short-term visitors will remain fully responsible for all costs associated with COVID-19 treatment and/or isolation throughout their stay in Korea.

Quarantine Procedure
  • Asymptomatic
    -Individuals who are fully vaccinated (either in Korea or overseas) and show no signs of symptoms (i.e., fever, cough, etc.) during the health screening process and on their Health Questionnaire may proceed to their destination after immigration check.
  • Symptomatic
    -Travelers with symptoms within three days after arrival can get tested for free at a COVID-19 test center or local health clinic.
    -If the test returns positive, travelers must quarantine at their place of residence, the hospital, or a care facility for seven days.
    -It is recommended to take the RAT with a self-testing kit or at a test center on the 6th or 7th day of quarantine.

Social Distancing Guidelines
  • Masks are no longer required indoors. However, masks will be required on public transportation, medical facilities, pharmacies and facilities susceptible to infectious disease.
  • For restaurants, coffee shops and tourist attractions, wearing masks is recommended but not mandatory.

  • 1 South Korean Won = Php0.044 (as of February 2023)

Powerplug
  • For South Korea the associated plug type is F, which is the plug that has two round pins with two earth clips on the side. South Korea operates on a 220V supply voltage and 60Hz. It’s best to bring a travel adapter with you while staying in South Korea.

Timezone
  • South Korea is one hour ahead of the Philippines.
  • A non-stop flight will take about 3 hours 45 minutes.

Visa Application

Procedure
  • Visa can only be applied 90 days before the travel date.
  • Primarily USANA will apply for a group Visa appointment (Only for Usana distributors) For non Usana companions, should apply individually.
  • All qualifiers will submit all their requirements to Getaway Tours via USANA head office, 24th floor – Sales office, on the following dates at 4:00-6:00PM;

  • Schedule of travel will be based on a first complete requirement, first slot basis, teams will not be considered on the booking of flights and batches.
  • Flights will be in batches of date departure, there will be morning and night flights
  • In the case that group visa is not granted, each associate will have to secure an appointment individually, OR opt for Cash payout.

What Are The Contest Rules?

Contest Rules
  • All ranking associates need to opt in to qualify for the promotion.
  • Each Incentive Program qualifier must at least be 95% commission- qualified every period. It will be computed at the end of the promotion based on number of missed commission qualification divided by the number of weeks from qualification.
  • Associate must be commission eligible at the time of the reward payout or trip.
  • Directly sponsored associates need to activate at least one BC within the promo period not necessarily during the time of enrollment.
  • Only SVP from product sales generated from directly sponsored new associates from PH will be counted towards this incentive program.
  • Only PH associates can qualify in the contest and only sales generated from personally sponsored PH associates will be counted.
  • Qualifying for the Incentive Program is non-transferable and is not redeemable for cash.
  • Early qualifiers’ gift may vary per period and subject to availability given the situation.
  • Any manipulation of this incentive, i.e., policy violations, will result in disqualification from this incentive in addition to any sanctions under the Associate Agreement.
  • If the main applicant cannot attend the incentive, their trip will be cancelled and the guest will not be able to attend. Guests may be an associate (downline) or a family member who is 18 years old and above. Crosslines and Uplines are not allowed as companions of the winners.
